Date Night in the City

Here at Mannings we know the perfect recipe for a stunning date night (which we’ll share with you below), and as we’ve launched our latest Date Night offer, we thought we’d ask some of our regular customers personal questions about their best and worst dates…

Annabel – 37

Best date: Tapas and wine by candlelight.

Worst date: Stale popcorn and a movie in a run-down cinema. (Annabel’s insistent she didn’t pick the venue!)

Okay Annabel, we believe you…

Samuel – 29

Best date: Surfing followed by beers and a burger fresh from the grill.

Worst date: Being greeted with a bunch of red roses, which he had to carry around town for drinks for the entire night. (A bit embarrassing maybe…)

Rebecca – 31

Best date: A trip to the Eden Project for skating and climbing the biomes.

Worst date: A day segwaying where she fell off into a bush… (She showed us the scar!)

Darryl – 45

Best date: Dinner at Mannings followed by a show at the Hall for Cornwall. (Good choice Darryl!)

Worst date: A night spent in the vet after the date’s cat got injured… (We’re assured he was alright in the end—both Darryl and the cat!)
