This Privacy Notice explains in detail when and why we collect your personal information.
It also explains how we’ll store and handle that data, and keep it safe in accordance with all applicable UK Data Protection legislation and regulations.
The security of your personal data is extremely important to us and with this in mind we will take care and protect it for you until you decide that you would like us to remove it for you from our records.
We do not share any of your personal information with third parties unless they provide a service to us and are working on our behalf. For example we only disclose necessary personal information in order to send our marketing e – mails to you and with your consent, from a company called Mailblast.
We do work closely with online booking agents such as; Booking.Com & Expedia so please ensure that you have read their Privacy Policies before proceeding with your reservation through them as these third parties will provide us with your personal information in order for us to process your reservation for you.

Forms You May Fill In During Your Stay:
When you register with us we do ask you to complete our guest registration form and verify that any information that is pre-printed for you is correct. At this time we will also ask for your vehicle registration and passport if you are an overseas visitor.
We will also obtain your personal information when you fill in any other forms – for example, if an accident occurs during your stay and a member of staff assists you.
During your stay when you use our car park, Hotel Bar & Restaurant your image may be recorded as we have a CCTV system in operation for the personal security of both guests and employees. This is deleted after 30 days.
What Type Of Personal Information Do We Collect From You ?
In order to process a booking we will need to collect certain information from you as it is part of your contractual obligation with us.
Personal identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, your name, email -address, postal address, telephone number, passport information, vehicle registration along with your personal credit card or debit card details (“Personal Information”) as this is part of the contractual basis.
This information is required by us under provision of “The Immigration (Hotel Records) Order 1972” when you are registering with us.
How We Store Your Personal Information Securely ?
All your personal information from your original reservation is retained manually for 12 months (in a secure & locked location) and electronically for 24 months or as long as it is necessary for the relevant activity. This may also include information about specific requests such as: disability requirements, limited mobility issues or possible health issues that may arise during your stay. This is called our guest history and assists us when we make future reservations for you.
Credit Card / Debit Card Information:
As part of the reservation process we will ask you for either valid credit card / debit card details and these will be on file, stored and encrypted electronically along with your original booking reservation form if you called us direct. Any sensitive information such as credit card / debit card details are encrypted across our website along with any third party websites that you may have used to make your reservation with such as; My UK Travel, Booking.Com & Expedia. All sensitive information can only be accessed with secure password protected log on details by our reservation department when retrieving such information.
Who Has Access To Your Personal Data ?
Trained key members of staff within the reservation department along with senior members of staff and our Data Controller Representative. All your personal information can only be accessed by these key members of staff with secure password protected log on details.
E – Mail Address:
As part of the reservation process we do ask you for an e-mail address so we can send you a follow up confirmation e-mail to ensure the correct reservation has been made for you. Once you check in with us upon arrival we will ask you if you would like to receive our marketing e-letters which could contain future special rates and offers. At this point you can decide if you would like to be added to our mailing list and if you decline you will not be added. If you decided to be added to our mailing list but, then change your mind at any point in the future, you can ask to be removed by simply using the Unsubscribe Button at the bottom of any of our marketing e-mails.
If you have used a third party site such as; Booking.Com & Expedia we will also ask you for your e-mail address when you check in with us and ask if you would like to be added to our mailing list.
When you engage with us on social media via messenger we may ask you for your e-mail address in order to send you the information you have asked for.
When you enter our prize draws or competitions we do ask for your e-mail address so we can contact you in case you are the winner.
If you have signed up directly to our M Club Newsletter via our website we will store your e-mail address on our mailing list as you have given us consent to do so and this is maintained by a third party company that we use called Campaign Manager.
