Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using  www.manningshotels.co.uk (“the Site”) operated by Mannings Hotel (“us”, “we”, or “our”). This Agreement sets forth the legally binding terms and conditions for your use of the site at www.manningshotels.co.uk.

By accessing or using the Site in any manner, including, but not limited to, visiting or browsing the Site or contributing content or other materials to the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Capitalised

Reservations:

Your reservation will be confirmed by Mannings Hotel via an e-mail after the initial booking has been taken and a valid credit card or debit card has been supplied to secure the booking if you book with us direct.

If  You Need To Cancel Your Booking:

If your travel plans change and you no longer require your current reservation we do need 48 hours cancellation notice prior to 12 noon on the day of your arrival in order not to incur a late cancellation fee. We can be contacted by e-mail as we do require your cancellation in writing. If your cancellation falls outside of our cancellation policy there will be a cancellation fee of one night’s accommodation charged to the credit card / debit card that we have on file for you. Please note that our cancellation policy is explained on all of our e-mail confirmations to you.

If you have made a reservation via a third party website such as Booking.Com or Expedia please refer to our booking conditions on their website as these form of reservations are non-refundable if cancelled and cannot be amended.

If you have arranged a group reservation please refer to our original reservation and cancellation policy on your e-mail confirmation.

Payment Details:

When your reservation was made we did explain that in order to confirm your reservation with us we would require either a valid credit card or debit card to secure it. Full payment is due upon arrival and in the event you depart leaving an outstanding balance on your account we will use the credit card or debit card on file for you to settle the account.

We will also ask you for a valid credit or debit card for any sundry items upon checking in.

*Please note that the credit card or debit card details that we hold for you will only ever be charged without you being present in accordance with our Hotels Terms & Conditions for any outstanding balances, cancellations, and smoking or damage charges.

Payment Of Account:

Accounts can be settled with all major credit cards but we do not accept cheques for payment.

Check In / Check Out Times:

Our check in time is 4 pm though if you contact us in advance we will make every effort to get your room ready as soon as possible for you. Check out is 11:00 am – again if you contact us in advance we can try to arrange a later check out for you.

Car Parking:

Our car park is located just to left of the hotel and 4 red telephone boxes and can be accessed via our main gate intercom and we do offer complimentary car parking.

We are not liable for any damages to your vehicle whilst using our car park. We will send you off site car parking information if you request it.

Smoking:

You can’t ignore the rules. It is illegal to smoke in our hotel. If you have smoked in your hotel room a fee will be charged to the credit card / debit card that we have on file for you – this would be the cost of one night’s stay and a £100.00 cleaning fee.

Discounts & Special Offers:

If you are booking one of our hotel offers that includes a discount or a voucher to use in the restaurant you cannot use any other promotional offers or discounts either in the hotel or restaurant.

Gift Vouchers:

If you are redeeming one of our gift vouchers we cannot give back change or replace lost / stolen vouchers.

Damages:

We reserve the right to charge individual guests the cost of rectifying damage which has been caused by the negligent acts of guests to the hotel’s property. If such damage is discovered during the stay it will be drawn to the guest’s attention but if discovered after guests have departed then we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit card / debit card, or send an invoice for the costs for payment to the registered address. We will however make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that guests would incur to a minimum.

Special Requests:

If you have any special requests such as dietary, location of room or type of bedding required please make us aware of this before your arrival and we will make every effort to assist you.

Lost Property:

Please contact us direct on 01872 270345 in the event that you may have left an item with us – a postal fee will be charged in the event an item is requested to be mailed back.

We store lost items for a duration of 3 months.

Intellectual Property:

The Site and its original content, features and functionality are owned by Mannings Hotel and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

Termination:

We may terminate your access to the Site, without cause or notice, which may result in the forfeiture and destruction of all information associated with you. All provisions of this Agreement that by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

Links To Other Sites

Our Site may contain links to third-party sites that are not owned or controlled by Mannings Hotel.

Mannings Hotel has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party sites or services. We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of any third-party site that you visit.

Governing Law

This Agreement (and any further rules, polices, or guidelines incorporated by reference) shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.

Information Collection And Use

While using our Site, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address, postal address and phone number (“Personal Information”).

Changes To This Agreement
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions by posting the updated terms on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

Please review this Agreement periodically for changes. If you do not agree to any of this Agreement or any changes to this Agreement, do not use, access or continue to access the Site or discontinue any use of the Site immediately.

Mannings Restaurant – NHS Discount – from Monday July 17th 2023.

We are happy to offer a 5 % discount off food when eating in Mannings Restaurant when a valid NHS ID is shown and it will be applied to one bill – we cannot apply the discount to individual bills.

If you would like to stay in Mannings Hotel we can also offer a 5 % discount off our regular room rate when a valid NHS ID is shown – sorry buy we cannot extend the 5 % discount to any advertised promotions (Date Nights) or offers and this discount can be amended or withdrawn at any time.

Please inform the waiting staff that you have an NHS ID before we present you with the bill – this means the discount can be calculated in a timely manner.
